Before contacting us for a service call, please check out these simple items.  You may be able to save a service call to your home!

No Heat or Insufficient Heating

  1. Are the filters dirty?  Try changing them first.

  2. Is the thermostat set too low, high or off?  Try adjusting the temperature.

  3. Is there a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker?  Try replacing the fuse or resetting the breaker

  4. Has there been a power failure or is the blower door not shut tight?  Try removing the blower door completely and replacing it.

  5. Is the pilot light out?  Try relighting it by following the instructions in your owners manual

  6. Is the fan belt slipping or broken?  Adjust or change the fan belt.

  7. Did you check to make sure that the thermostat was in the "on" position?

Blower Won't Start

  1. Is there a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker?  Try replacing the fuse or resetting the breaker.

  2. Has there been a power failure or is the blower door not shut tightly?  Try removing the blower door completely and replacing it.

  3. Is the fan belt slipping or broker?  Adjust or change the fan belt.

  4. Did you check to make sure that the thermostat was in the "on" position?

No Cooling or Insufficient Cooling

  1. Are the filters dirty?  Try changing them first.

  6. Did you check to make sure that the thermostat was in the "on" position?

Water Leak

  1. Condensate drain tubing may be plugged.  Clean out the drain tubing and see if this clears up the leak first.
